Two Reasons Why The New Omega Replica Seamaster Diver 300m Chronograph Will Charm You

　　Personally,unless it’s a TAG Heuer Monaco or an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch with manual winding,I don’t care much about a chronograph.

　　I know,it’s still a more interesting complication than a tourbillon(well,maybe every complication is more interesting than a tourbillon:-)),but a chronograph is not exactly what I’m looking for in a watch.

　　That’s why my initial view of the new product was quite skeptical.

　　Skeptical mainly because I was worried about how it would fire live.

　　I don’t like disproportionate things.

　　For example,when Mercedes introduced the CLA class in 2013,I couldn’t believe that someone from Stuttgart allowed this work to be sent to the public and was sober.

　　I frankly could not digest the rear”kilometer”overhang above the wheel.

　　Even though I had the car for a week and even in the AMG 45 version,I couldn’t imagine that it should be parked in my garage,even if the unit was famous.

　　I prefer the Megane RS.

　　And this is exactly what I was afraid of,that the watch will be handled brilliantly from a technical point of view,but something about it will really irritate me.

　　I’ve been looking around our store for the past week and what can’t I see?New Diver with chronograph and Sedna arrived in stock(Sedna Gold–patented brown gold alloy).

　　I immediately requested the watch for a photo shoot so that I could get to know it a bit.

　　It was exactly that moment when you go to the cinema with prejudices in your head,because you heard this and read that…

　　However,I have to say that after the day’s experience,I almost completely changed my view of this model.

1.READABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY

　　I was very concerned about readability.

　　When I went to the photo shoot,I put the watch on my hand,since there is rubber,I don’t need to adjust the strap.

　　While driving in Bratislava,I didn’t pay much attention to the watch on my hand,but with a fleeting,rather subconscious glance,I realized that the black high-gloss dial contrasts incredibly with the huge round indexes.

　　So I got the information about the time almost immediately.

　　I think that all previous”dajverkas”,let’s call them the 1st generation,if they were in chronograph design,the pointers at three,six and nine were very outdated.

　　Even when the 24-hour scale was added to the small dial,the”Spanish village”was born.

　　However,in this case I have to admit that enlarging the case to 44mm was the only possible step to do the job well.

　　The highly refined and high-gloss dial is basically dominated by two colors:black and white.

　　The gold on the hands disappears at certain moments.

　　It is the two-color design that ensures lightning readability.

2.PROCESSING

　　Talking about the processing is probably a bit unnecessary in the case of Omega,but I still have to stop here again and even though I addressed the dial in the previous lines,I have to mention it again.

　　It is really EXCELLENT and unreal and I don’t know what else.

　　The precision of the details is at such a high level that it is difficult to find another brand that could do it better.

　　Likewise,the case and bezel and the finishing of the bezels are perfect!I keep writing about how bezel machining is exceptional,but that’s only because it fascinates me.

　　I was pleasantly surprised by a small detail in the form of shank buttons.

　　They are made of ceramic and feel like they compress better than the steel ones,maybe it’s because they feel more rigid.

GENERAL IMPRESSION

　　Would I be willing to pay more than€9000 for this watch?Not for now,but I can add in one breath that if I already had in my collection everything that I consider to be a”must ride”,then probably yes.

　　But I would rather prefer classic 3-hand”dajverkas”.

　　However,if I had to decide,I would only go for this version:black dial,Sedna Gold and rubber strap(210.22.44.51.01.001).

　　The rest are mundane and boring in my opinion.

　　On these,every single detail is in perfect symbiosis.

　　It is also true that the design of the watch is rather intended for a bigger and stronger wrist than mine,but even the wrist can get bigger over time:-)

　　I clearly admit,without torture,that this watch has become one of the biggest surprises for me this year.
